Like other reviewers, I had trouble when I first received my 4GB compact flash. When I put it in the camera it appeared to not work! Fortunately, I read others’ reviews, and Googled my issue and how to fix it. Turns out it was only a formatting issue that was causing it to not work in my Canon G2 camera. To format the compact flash I put it in the camera, then went to the camera’s menu setting and looked for “format.” Once it was formatted the compact flash worked fine. My camera’s counter only went to 999, so I had more than 1000 photos that would fit on the compact flash! So glad I saw the reviews that pointed me to the solution, or else I would have been pretty unhappy…but now it’s all good! :>)
